Thankful

I am thankful today and everyday for having the best family, incredible friends and fabulous clients.

The Burke Family

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing one of my favorite families.

This is the third year I've taken Holiday pictures of Sarah and Curtis and the second year Zoey has been with them.

I can't believe how fast a year has past and how big Zoey is getting.Last year we had to prop her up. This year we could barley get her to stay still.

Talk about cute.

Megan and Dustin

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of traveling to Ohio for the Wedding of Megan and Dustin.

This couple is not only deeply loved by one another but the whole community. The church had standing room only.Besides a Christmas eve I can't tell you the last time I've seen a church fill up that much.

The ceremony took place at the Trinity United Methodist Church. And the reception took place at the local Knights of Columbus.

To many fun things to mention them all. So here are just a few fun facts from the Wedding.

The flower girl dropped her petals just as she was told, then the ring bearer picked them all up as he followed her.

The cake knife not only has Megan an Dustin's names on it but also her sister and brother in law and her parents.Love that tradition.

Megan's Dad cried during their dance (not surprised).

But the best was when Pastor David said Dustin's brothers name Sean instead of Dustin.

And he has known both of them for many many years.

Sorry Pastor David it was to good not to share.

This was a Wedding I will not soon forget.

I had a hard time just picking a few for a sneak peak.This is what I came up with.

Christmas decor at Pennas

Monday and Tuesday I had a blast helping my good friends decorate Pennas on Van Dyke. I love Christmas decorations and the last couple of years Jerry from Venetian flowers and Donna from Always Special Linens have invited me to help out.

Both trees and banisters came out beautiful but I think my favorite is the Angel tree.

If you are lucky enough to attend a party at Pennas this holiday season, think of us when you admire the decorations.
