Elizabeth and John
Elizabeth and John got hitched this past weekend.

Baker Kids
Today I got to visit with two of my favorite little Models, Reese and Drew.
We were going to do just a few shots of Drew and maybe a few together but Reese was in a playful mood and we got several more shots then we had expected.
Reese is a great bubble blower.
I think they are to cute for words, what do you think?

Edna turns 90
The other day I covered a celebration, Edna's 90TH Birthday.
Talk about a sweet lady. Edna had most of her family and several friends attend the party. Her oldest friend being 94. These ladies try to get together every week for a girls night out. And most of them still drive themselves. Just goes to show the secret to a long happy life, love and laughter!

Thursday I had the pleasure of meeting this handsome little fellow, Giovanni.
He is just the sweetest little man. I was able to get several fantastic pictures.
I can't wait to photograph the entire family together. This little prince has three adorable sisters and very good looking parents.

Luke
Sunday was one of those days that I just wanted to go out and shoot in the great March weather. I was lucky enough to have Luke come for his senior pictures.
There wasn't much color in the woods but Luke had some great outfits and the light was near perfect.
I knew Luke was in the band and played sports but didn't realize how incredibly talented he really is. Luke plays several instruments and multiple sports. And did I mention he just found out he is going to Purdue University next year? Looks talent and smarts not to mention an all around nice guy.
I love my clients.

Welcome to the world Adam
I would like to introduce you to someone very special, Adam Jamal.
This little cutie was born on February 6TH and I just got to meet him last weekend. He happens to be very special his mother Melissa is like family so I guess he would be like a nephew. Well almost .
When I went to meet this little man I of course had my camera with me. Melissa was kind enough to let me take a few pictures.

30 days in the dark.
How would you like to go 30 days in the dark? Most people would say no thank you, but I met someone who is going to do it on purpose.
Brian Lane is going 30 days in the dark to help bring awareness to a cause very dear to him.
Brian is the founder of FiftyTwo4Mom a non-profit organization to help raise funds for optic nerve disorders awareness and research. Why did Brian start this organization? His mother has this disorder.
When I found out about his project I wanted to help. Saturday Brian and myself went to Royal Oak to hang out for a while doing some of the things Brian would normally do only wearing his masks. Suddenly browsing the racks in a favorite store, window shopping, and even opening doors became a whole different reality.
I'm very impressed with what Brian is about to do and wish him only the best of luck. So if you see him roaming around town stop and ask how he's doing and help if you can.

Love in the D
Nicole and Drew are getting married. When I asked Nicole do you know where you want your pictures taken; she immediately said Comerica Park. Nicole is a die hard Tigers fan and loves baseball in general. So that's what we did.
After our little walk about in Detroit we headed to the woods for a few nature shots.
Drew is a little on the shy side but once he started to open up he has a fabulous smile and very cute sense of humor.
I can't wait for the Wedding in May.

Duck, duck, walleye?
Bob from Wood'N Decoys has been a busy man.
Yesterday he brought 18 more works of art to photograph. Bob hand carves and paints wooden decoys. He has also started commissioning fish and other birds. Bob does incredible work and is an all around nice guy. In love with love.
I'm in love with love, or should I say with people in love. To me there is nothing better.
The moment right before the kiss, the laughter, the look on a Mothers face when she sees her daughter in her gown. A bride so gitty because she can hardly believe she just married her best friend. And of coarse the moment a father realizes he will never truly loose his little girl.
That's way I do what do, I'm in love with love.

Kathleen & Jamie
Saturday I had the pleasure of spending the day with Kathleen, Jamie and their families.
You see it was a very special day, after 11 years together they tied the knot.
I think the day was so special because these two have been together for many years and the families are already close. You could feel the love, I like that feeling.
The wedding was at the beautiful St. Augustine in Richmond.Then we went to Maryville's city park for a few pictures and off to Alexanders for a fabulous celebration.
A special thanks to the wedding party, for a huge wedding party I had no trouble wrangling them together for the pictures.
