Saturday I had the pleasure of spending the day with Kathleen, Jamie and their families.
You see it was a very special day, after 11 years together they tied the knot.
I think the day was so special because these two have been together for many years and the families are already close. You could feel the love, I like that feeling.
The wedding was at the beautiful St. Augustine in Richmond.Then we went to Maryville's city park for a few pictures and off to Alexanders for a fabulous celebration.
A special thanks to the wedding party, for a huge wedding party I had no trouble wrangling them together for the pictures.

Marlins invitational 2012 cancer sucks

This weekend was jam packed full. Not a wedding no family portraits, I had the pleasure of photographing the Marlins swim team.
The Macomb Marlins is the swim team my daughter swims on. And this past Saturday and Sunday they were swimming against cancer. They were all wearing cancer sucks swim caps  and looked FABULOUS. They even made the 10 o'clock news , thanks Fox 2.
They made a lot of money to donate and had a blast doing it.
Can I just say, MARLINS ROCK!

Friday the 13TH how will you look at it?

Many people are more worried today, being careful of what they do how they travel and money they spend. I'm not talking because of  the economy, today is Friday the 13TH.I truly believe it's all in how you look at things.
I learned something last year at a conference I went to and worked.
444
Why does this matter? Well if you are going to believe in Friday the 13TH, you can believe in 444.
This year we will have three Friday the 13THs. So lets look at this differently.
1+3=4
that will make three 4s =444
444 is the sign of Angels.
Again it's all in how you look at it. I'm going to look at it as this is going to be a blessed year.

Valentine portraits

Valentines day is fast approaching and is a great time for portraits.
So grab the one you love the most and call me for an appointment. You don't have to be newly engaged, the one you love the most may be a year and a half old.
Just like this BEAUTIFUL little girlie. Ariel's parents and Grandparents are going to love these.

Pinterest - what to wear

One of the most asked questions I get asked as a photographer is what should I wear to my photo shoot?
This question is easily answered just by browsing some of the boards on pinterest. Not just mine but there are literally 1000's of great ideas on here.

Happy New Year to all of my family, Friends, and the best clients a girl could have.
2011 was one of my best years yet, and 2012 looks like it could be even better.
So thanks and here is to another FABULOUS year.

Meet the Mette family; Amy Todd and two of the cutest little men I have ever seen Luke and Joshua.
The littlest guy is 1 week old and he lucked out with an awesome big brother.
